Who We Are

The Kada Scott Foundation was created in loving memory of Kada Y. Scott — a bright, creative, and compassionate young woman whose light continues to inspire our mission. After her tragic loss in 2025, her family and community came together to honor her legacy by building opportunities for young women across Philadelphia.

Our Mission

We empower young women of Philadelphia by nurturing creativity, ambition, entrepreneurship, and kindness. Through scholarships, micro-grants, mentorship, and community programs, we help young women gain the resources, confidence, and support they need to build their futures.

Why We Exist

Kada believed deeply in self-expression, fashion, creativity, and uplifting others. She dreamed big — and she pushed others to dream with her.
Her life motivates us to:
